Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer with strong expertise in SwiftUI and Combine to join our team on a contract basis in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced iOS applications using SwiftUI and Combine.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless mobile experiences.
• Write clean, scalable, and testable code while ensuring performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Stay updated with the latest iOS frameworks, tools, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of hands-on iOS development experience.
• Strong expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, and Combine framework (mandatory).
• Solid understanding of iOS architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating third-party libraries/SDKs.
• Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles for mobile platforms.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Core Data, Core Animation, or other Apple frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for iOS apps.
