We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Lviv/Kyiv!

About the job:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our live casino games division. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our real-time gaming platforms. This role involves working with large-scale distributed systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance while enabling fast and reliable deployments. As a senior member of the team, you will also mentor peers, establish best practices, and drive automation and observability improvements across the platform.

What You'll get to do:

• Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure for real-time gaming services.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters and workloads for scalability and reliability.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Helm and ArgoCD.
• Monitor and improve system performance using the kube-prometheus-stack and custom observability solutions.
• Ensure database reliability, performance tuning, and HA for PostgreSQL.
• Operate and optimize messaging systems using Kafka.
• Manage and maintain caching and session management layers with Redis.
• Collaborate closely with backend teams (Node.js) to support efficient and secure deployments.
• Drive security, compliance, and automation across infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps culture within the team.
  
  

What You need to know:

• 7+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong proficiency in Linux systems administration.
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or on-prem clusters).
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL database administration and performance tuning.
• Proven experience managing Kafka clusters and topics in production.
• Experience with Helm and ArgoCD for application delivery.
• Strong knowledge of Prometheus / kube-prometheus-stack for monitoring and alerting.
• Operational experience with Redis in distributed environments.
• Familiarity with Node.js application deployment and runtime considerations.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, or similar).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in high-pressure environments.
