OVERALL POSITION OBJECTIVE

The Designer – Internal/External Design is to deliver exceptional service to the business. This person would thrive on challenges in a high paced environment, has a passion for Design processes. In addition, we’re after someone with good design knowledge, excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as be a team player.

In this role, you will be:

• Works in IPMAN Cancellations team.
• Working on Live Network Environment at client base
• Removing VLAN configurations on ASR Routers using NSO Scripting
• Removing the Port configurations on the ASR Routers and decommissioning at customer premise end.
• Removing the entire configurations from the devices as per the requirements
• Removing LAG on ASR devices through IP-RDM according to the design
• Removing the configurations from customer end NTU devices and Cisco catalyst devices
• Adhere to the MOPs shared and follow the procedures involved.
• Working closely with external and internal technical teams involved.

Description

• Delivering services to the customer over Wideband Metropolitan area network.
• Provide technical support to team.
• Ensure volume targets are met on daily/weekly/monthly
• Implementing and standardising processes including Quality control
• Quality Control/Assurance
• Ensure service delivery meets quality requirements based on Process document and guidelines.
• Ensure improved performance & quality service delivery on weekly/monthly basis.
• Work effectively as part of the team, with both internal and external key stakeholders.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Certified Network Engineer with standard set skills
• Intermediate-advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio
• Exposure in the Telcom network arena
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise tasks
• Strong time management skills
• SME level understanding SME understanding of the following systems, Provision,IP-RDM,Magpie,Rapid,SecureCRT / Putty,Ideal,Panda,CSOM
• Product Knowledge and Industry Experience
