AI Engineer (Live Streaming & Video-On-Demand)

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to build the next generation of AI applications that are redefining media and entertainment. In this role, you'll use your AI/ML expertise to create dynamic workflows for live and VOD content on a multi-cloud (AWS/GCP) platform. You will be at the forefront of technology, building everything from conversational agents with LLMs to automatic video highlight generators for millions of users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable, end-to-end AI solutions and data workflows for live streaming and VOD content.
• Develop extensible workflow orchestrations to enable new types of media analysis.
• Prototype new AI approaches and rapidly productionize successful models for a massive user base.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineering peers to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Qualifications:

• Proven professional experience as a Software Engineer, Data Scientist, or ML Engineer.
• Deep expertise in the technical challenges of live media streaming and VOD.
• Hands-on experience building with Vector Databases and Generative AI/LLMs.
• Strong background in distributed system design and building scalable batch/streaming data pipelines on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Proficiency with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience designing and implementing REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Ability to ensure a minimum of 6 hours of daily overlap with PST.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java.
• Experience analyzing broadcast or digital streaming video at scale.
• Familiarity with creating SDKs for use in environments like Jupyter Notebooks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Relevant academic publications or research in AI/ML.
