We don’t have a QA team yet — you’ll be the first. The one who makes sure our stuff doesn’t break when users actually touch it. If you’ve ever raged at sloppy releases and thought “I could’ve caught that in 5 minutes” — this one’s for you.
We ship fast, we break things, and we need someone to hold the line. Think bugs before users do. Think automated tests that scream when something’s off. Think catching that one edge case at 3am so our devs don’t.
👷♀️ What you’ll be breaking (and fixing):
- Hammer new and modified features across browsers, devices, networks — if it can fail, you’ll try it.
- Run chaos checks: bad data, flaky APIs, broken services. If it crashes, you’ve done your job right.
- Build and maintain automated tests in Playwright (end-to-end, regression, smoke — the whole suite).
- Sniff logs, catch issues, set up alerts (site down in Brazil? you’ll know first).
- Keep bug reports sharp: repro steps, expected vs actual, environment, severity — no fluff.
- Sync with support/devs to kill bugs fast and prioritize what matters.
🧠 You should bring:
- 2–3 years busting web apps.
- 50+ automated tests under your belt (Playwright, but Cypress/Puppeteer/Selenium welcome too).
- JavaScript/TypeScript chops — enough to code tests without crying.
- Web know-how: browsers, responsiveness, cross-browser quirks.
- REST API testing (Postman, curl, Swagger), HTTP guts (status codes, headers, auth).
🎯 Bonus XP:
- OWASP Top 10 basics (XSS, CSRF, SQLi).
- Logs + alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Loki).
- Bug trackers (Jira, YouTrack, Linear).
⚡ Who you are:
- Sharp eye for detail, even when things move fast.
- Comfortable testing in prod (because users already are).
- Good at cutting noise: you know what needs fixing now and what can wait.
- Clear communicator — devs, support, product, all on the same page.
🎁 What you get:
- Competitive pay
- No corporate BS — no Jira rituals, no endless standups
- Flexible work/hybrid
- A small team that actually ships things — you’ll see your impact daily
If you’ve ever yelled “did anyone even test this??” — now’s your chance to be the one who does. Lets go!
