Co-founder for Maxibook in Startup in AI/Education (Equity-only)

I'm building Maxibook—an

AI-powered platform rethinking how scientific knowledge is delivered,

organized and personalized through dynamic knowledge maps and

LLM-generated adaptive content.

The project is

initially aimed at universities, research institutions and funded

initiatives, with a future extension toward the corporate HR sector for

applications such as onboarding, continuous training and skill-gap

reduction.

We’ve completed the visual identity, defined the full cloud-native architecture, and launched the testing environment.

The MVP is expected by March 2026.

The

startup is not yet incorporated, and has a clear international vision.

All roles are equity-only, fully remote, results-driven, and inclusive. A

flexible commitment of 10–20 hours/week is expected, fully compatible

with other work or studies.

CFO – Chief Financial Officer / Co-founder (Fundraising & Institutional Relations)

Senior

profile with solid experience in fundraising and the education or

edtech sector, ideally with a startup exit in their background.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing relationships with universities, public institutions, research centers, and investors (Italy and abroad)


• Leading
  
  the preparation and negotiation of funding agreements for
  
  research-based projects (e.g. Horizon Europe, PNRR, national/regional
  
  grants)


• Supporting the legal setup and financial sustainability of the startup in its early phase

This is a key strategic role for building institutional credibility and access to resources.

CMO – Chief Marketing Officer / Co-founder (Marketing & Communication)

Creative,

motivated profile (even early-career), able to define the brand

identity, develop a launch strategy, and lead communications toward

users, partners, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing the tone of voice and marketing narrative


• Managing digital presence and early community building


• Creating pitch decks, presentation materials, and investor-facing content for both public and private stakeholders

A strategic role for market validation and brand positioning.

Technical Contributors (on-equity basis)

I'm

looking for highly motivated collaborators to join the tech team with

micro-equity involvement and the potential for long-term integration

into the founding core. 10–20 hours/week, milestone-based, no need to

quit your current job or studies.

Full-stack Developer (React/Next.js)

• Experienced
  
  with modern environments (React 18, Next.js), SQL and NoSQL databases
  
  (MongoDB, Firebase), REST/GraphQL architectures.


• Interest in Big Data or distributed systems is a plus.

Mobile Developer (iOS + Android)

• Skilled
  
  in native development with Swift/SwiftUI (iOS) and Flutter (Android),
  
  to help design a lightweight and accessible learner interface.


• Experience with adaptive UI and mobile-first accessibility is welcome.

LLM & AI Optimization Specialist

• Central
  
  role in Maxibook’s core engine. Looking for academically trained
  
  profiles with proven experience in LLM training and optimization,
  
  ideally with prior involvement in research or AI-driven applications.


• Contribution areas:


• Adaptive logic and prompt design


• Knowledge mapping and validation of generated content


• Collaboration on LLM infrastructure and inference strategies

Required skills:

• Fine-tuning, prompt engineering, prompt chaining


• Familiarity with local models (e.g. LLaMA, Mixtral, Ollama)


• Dataset curation and semantic structuring

• Working hours are fully flexible, but the project follows an agile iteration model with sprints, dailies and retrospectives.
