Our client is a green tech start-up based in Coimbra (Portugal). They are an experienced company in the circular economy field, and we work every day to be the best company in the world in this area, and they just raised a 3M€ seed round to bring impact to the community.

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join the tech team and help build robust, scalable solutions for the circular economy. You will work on developing and maintaining our core product using modern web technologies and best practices.

Their work model is hybrid, with 1 day in the office, and 4 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Ruby on Rails and modern frontend technologies.
• Build and maintain reusable components using ViewComponents.
• Implement real-time features using Turbo and modern JavaScript practices.
• Build and optimize database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL.
• Manage caching layers with Redis.
• Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure code quality and PRD alignment through testing, delivering ready-to-deploy features.
