We are seeking a Financial Project Manager to drive and lead the implementation of FS partnerships and solutions in selected markets, including new market launches and partner replacements in existing markets. The Project Manager will support the Head of Business Development & Head of Financial Services in overall project management related to planned FS partner changes between Q3 2024-Q1 2025.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Project 1 – Financial Services Partner change in Germany
  • Project 2 – Financial Services Partner change in United Kingdom
  • Project 3 – Financial Services Partner change in Denmark

Expectations:

  • Drive and lead the implementation of FS partnerships and solutions in selected Polestar markets
  • Manage and coordinate FS partner selections / RFQ processes in selected markets
  • Support client on its transition journey into an assisted sales (Agency model)
  • Challenge existing FS solutions and support the development of client's FS domain

The Team

This is a global team leading and managing following key areas:

  • Inventory Funding (Trade Finance & Floorplans)
  • Retail Finance
  • Retail Insurance

Requirements

  • At least 5 years but preferably 10 years of relevant experience in banking, auto finance with strong track record of project management and delivery
  • Extensive knowledge of banking / finance / treasury products, services and process
  • Certified PMO with demonstrated comparable past projects

Other Requirements

  • Strong business acumen and ownership mentality
  • Structured and highly organized
  • Ownership, drive and proactivity mindset, combined with experience and strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in German and / or Danish
