About The Role

Our Technology team builds the systems and experiences that keep Revolut moving. From the infrastructure behind our innovative app to the features used by millions of people around the world, they bring sharp thinking, speed, and a focus on meaningful impact to everything they do.

We're looking for a highly technical, experienced Lead Information Security Manager to ensure best practices in our IT and Information Security function in the UAE.

What You'll Be Doing

• Overseeing information security for Revolut’s UAE operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including the UAE Central Bank
• Collaborating with the global Information Security team, working towards the maturity, automation, and scalability of InfoSec and IT operations controls
• Performing risk and control assessments and deep dives within various product and technology teams to come up with actionable insights
• Proactively managing risks to prevent security incidents, breaches, and non-compliance within technology risk frameworks
• Building and maintaining solid relationships with UAE regulators, representing Revolut’s IT and InfoSec policies effectively
• Delivering insightful technology risk reports and metrics (KRIs, BCIs) to the Board and Executive Committees
• Conducting and completing third-party security risk assessments and reviews
• Coordinating internal and external compliance reviews, providing expertise for regulators and compliance frameworks
• Reporting security status and events to senior management
  
  

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of experience in information security and IT operations, preferably within the banking or financial services industry
• Advanced experience in technical security disciplines and information security requirements
• Experience managing intra-group outsourcing of InfoSec and IT services
• A track record in delivering localised group IT/InfoSec policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements
• An excellent understanding of compliance requirements, including those related to the financial services industry
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks
  
  

Nice to have

• Experience performing IT audits or working in the 1LoD as a Technology Risk Manager in financial services or technology
• Knowledge and experience of industry and regulatory standards related to technology and security (SOX, SOC2, ISO, COBIT, ITIL, etc.)
