Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer for a 12-month contract engagement. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki technologies and a strong background in network automation. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and resilient network solutions across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain Cisco Meraki networking infrastructure (switches, wireless, firewalls, SD-WAN).
Automate network configuration, monitoring, and deployment tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible, or similar).
Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide root cause analysis.
Collaborate with IT, security, and application teams to ensure optimal network performance and security.
Monitor and analyze network performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Document network architecture, configuration changes, and procedures.
Provide support for network upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in a network engineering role.
Proven expertise in Cisco Meraki technologies (MX, MS, MR, MV).
Experience with network automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible, REST APIs).
Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VPN, VLANs, QoS, and security best practices.
Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are highly desirable.
