Java API Engineer

Client: Global Financial - Life & Pensions

Location: Manchester

Hybrid: 2 days per week in the office

Salary: 80k-100k GBP

Our client are a Global Financial located in Manchester.

We need a Java API Engineer who can develop and deliver robust software solutions for our tier 1 financial, working in an Agile environment. A good understanding of Best practice is a must, and the ability to explain technical solutions in a clear way to the business.

Previous experience working in the financial services, on mission critical systems, would be great, especially if you have experience in Life & Pensions.

It's a small team, so everyone's accountable, and no day is ever the same. You'll be staying close to your team and making sure everyone is performing to the best of their ability and working hard to achieve the one shared goal, which is to make the platform the best-in-class which in turn provides the premium services to the customer.

Experience:

• 5+ years in a Java programming experience
• MongoDB (preferably) or other database technologies.
• Data Quality tools and techniques.
• Jenkins, Git (Bitbucket), JavaScript.
• Financial services experience
• Located in Manchester
• Happy with 2 days in the office
