We have been engaged by a leading Insurtech company to find a Product focused Senior Software Engineer to continue the ongoing shift from “feature factory” to a product engineering approach.

Backed by a well-established global parent company, they operate with the agility of a scale-up while enjoying the stability of a larger organisation. Their technology powers complex marketplaces serving thousands of customers.

They are undergoing a multi-year transformation, modernising their architecture and shifting towards a product-focused, SaaS model.

You'll help..

• Drive cross-team initiatives
• Build new services/APIs to modernise cloud native, backend infrastructure
• Create repeatable, productised solutions for external partners
• Mentor engineers, promote best practices (TDD/XP), and demonstrate what “great” looks like
• Help design systems which balance scalability, performance, and maintainability

The tech stack consists of Java21, Kotlin Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Helm and various AWS services.
