Nature of the tasks
• Managing projects specifically in the domain of COTS selection and acquisition, according to the internal project management methodology ENGAGE, leaning on mastery of industry-standard project-management methodologies.
• Developing business-case type reports and project plans.
• Closely cooperating with intra-team experts, i.e. business analysts, solution architects, technical experts.
• Eliciting and extracting functional, technical, legal, compliance and other types of requirements, drafting structured needs and requirements documents.
• Scanning the global COTS market.
• Performing pre-project implementation and costing analysis.
• Soliciting product, compliance and offering materials from vendors.
• Maintaining vendor relations before and during the project.
• Conducting prototyping and proof-of-concepts.
• Liaising and negotiating with internal services (testing, legal, accessibility, security, procurement, enterprise architecture and development) in order to plan and complete various project activities.
• Contributing to procedural and technical guidelines documentation.
Educational qualifications:
Master's degree
A Master degree can be compensated by:
▪ either a Vocational Education/ High School degree with 10 years of professional experience,
▪ or a Bachelor degree with 4 years of professional experience.
• Such years of professional experience which were used to compensate for a level of education will not be counted in the years of professional experience required for a profile.
Relevant certifications:
Mandatory:
Active project management certificate (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent industry standard)
Professional experience:
• Minimum of 8 years of work experience relevant to the domain of the lot.
• Successful track record in IT project management. Additional track record of accomplishment in leading COTS selection, acquisition and installation projects is highly desirable.
• IT system design and development work experience is a strong advantage.
• Work experience in business analysis is a strong advantage.
• Strong practical knowledge to quality control methods.
• Wide experience with different types of project lifecycles (waterfall, iterative, agile), designing custom lifecycles as needed.
Language skills:
English at C.1 level and preferably French at B.2 level.
