Network Engineer

Introduction & Summary

We are seeking a Network Engineer with robust practical experience in managing and configuring network systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of authentication protocols and experience with automation in networking environments. Key skills include expertise in network equipment configuration, RADIUS protocol, and shell scripting.

Main Responsibilities

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring efficient operation and management of network infrastructure.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, and access points.
• Handle authentication and accounting flows using RADIUS protocol.
• Integrate RADIUS with backend systems effectively.
• Provision and manage Passpoint (Hotspot 2.0) profiles.
• Automate networking processes via shell scripting.
• Debug network issues and provide trace analysis.
• Document technical setups and troubleshoot system interactions.
• Build and maintain containerized environments for testing.
  
  

Key Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in networking roles.
• Proven ability to design complex authentication flows.
• Experience in owning and managing testbed environments.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Ability to document technical configurations and interactions.
• Familiarity with Linux-based systems.
• Hands-on experience with containers (Docker or similar).
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience in scaling RADIUS infrastructure.
• Familiarity with mesh networks or distributed authentication.
• Exposure to RadSec and federation protocols.
