At Sunrise, we think bigger, go further and create new ideas. For us working culture means achieving great things together. It’s where respect and innovative ideas combine with real teamwork – every voice counts, every perspective makes us stronger. Our passion spurs us on to try new things and grow continuously. Sound like you? Then join our success story.

As an exceptional analyst and advisor, your audience will include Sunrise’s senior leaders and decision-makers. You will be able to use your creativity, technical prowess, business acumen and communication skills to solve some of the toughest challenges the company faces. We are looking for someone who thrives on digging into a business domain to find new opportunities, understands the value of rigorous statistical analysis, and turns data into clear, confident decisions. If you like the sound of tackling everything from causal inference problems to simulations that help shape strategy - and if you enjoy teaming up with smart folks across the business to offer advice, challenge ideas, and guide decisions - this role will be a great fit for you.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

Our initiatives are always changing, so here is just a taste of the kind of topics you could be starting with:

  • Design and run nimble experiments - from study design to actionable insights, for example, we’re exploring new ways to measure how specific products affect customer churn
  • Simulate market and customer behavior - to advise decision-makers and help shape long-term company strategy
  • Derive recommendations from data - using a large number of free-text survey responses, identify topic clusters and ideate appropriate actions
  • Detect outliers in a large number of time series - support the data organization with an early detection tool for master data and data quality issues
  • Promote and help data-driven decision-making - through upskilling, coaching, and sharing success stories

YOUR SKILLS:

  • A University degree in a quantitative field (PhD preferred)
  • 2–5 years in a similar role in industry or consulting; project lead experience required for Senior
  • Deep knowledge of statistics, machine learning and other analytical methods
  • Proficient in at least one statistical programming language and in SQL
  • A pragmatic approach when putting together a POC, but a keen eye for detail and a stickler for accuracy when it comes to taking a concept to production
  • Skilled at communicating and working effectively with non-technical stakeholders across the organization; self-motivated, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English

At Sunrise, you’ll be working in a dynamic and multinational environment where every voice is heard, perspectives are shared and values are lived. Diversity isn’t just a program for us, it’s part of our DNA. By celebrating our differences, we achieve great things together.

Sunrise has partnered with «Advance – Gender Equality in Business». We’ve also been awarded the Swiss LGBTI label and «Fair-ON-Pay Advanced» certification as recognition for offering all our employees equal pay for work of equal value.

Ready to rise to the challenge? Then join the team and actively shape our future!
