Are you passionate about digital transformation and eager to make an impact in a high-tech production environment? We’re looking for a skilled and forward-thinking Application Developer to join our Production Digitalization team at Alfa Laval in Ronneby.

You will be part of a collaborative group of experts in Automation, IT/OT, and Systems, working together to strengthen and future-proof our global production operations.

About The Job

• As an Application Developer, you’ll play a key role in both maintaining and evolving our digital ecosystem. You will:
• Develop robust applications and integrations that enable and accelerate our digital journey.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the business – both locally and internationally.
• Enhance and support existing systems, ensuring they continue to meet our evolving needs.
• Drive and contribute to automation initiatives, helping to streamline and improve our production processes.
• Act as a trusted advisor, guiding the organization on best practices in application development.
  
  

Who You Are

You are a structured, proactive developer who thrives in a collaborative environment. You’re not afraid to take initiative, lead discussions, or dive into both technical detail and strategic thinking. You value continuous improvement and have a genuine interest in modern production technologies.

What You Know

• Proven experience in system development for production or operations.
• Strong C# /.NET development skills and experience with source control tools like Git.
• Solid understanding of SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Proficiency in web technologies (JSON, REST, AJAX, HTTP, HTML5).
• As AI tools become an integral part of everyday work life, familiarity and comfort with technologies such as Co-pilot are highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in distributed, international teams.
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent knowledge acquired through well documented work experience.
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English.

Experience with IT/OT integration.

Knowledge of automation and digitalization in production environments.
