SQL/ETL Developer

Forte Group is looking for a SQL/ETL Developer who will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and integrations, along with preparing structured datasets that enable analytics and reporting. While the role includes some dashboard and visualization work, the primary focus is on backend data engineering — connecting to key data sources, transforming and modeling data, and ensuring its accuracy, consistency, and performance.

Our client provides leading technology and services to the golf industry across the United States and Great Britain, including software that manages tee sheets, points of sale, and reservation services — all with a focus on delivering a great experience for golf players and smooth operations for golf courses. You will be working as part of a dedicated Agile team, with a high level of responsibility for technical decisions and daily collaboration with the client team abroad.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes for ingesting, transforming, and loading data from multiple sources into SQL Server and other target systems
• Develop and maintain data models to support operational and analytical needs
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across environments
• Collaborate with the product team to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Optimize database queries and ETL workflows for scalability and efficiency
• Support BI and reporting teams by preparing clean, structured datasets (occasional dashboard creation using Sisense or similar tools)
• Interact with project leads to understand functional as well as technical requirements

Qualifications

• BS/BSE degree or equivalent with a minimum of 2–3 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with SQL Server and excellent SQL coding skills
• Strong grasp of data modeling concepts, schema design, and data granularity
• Experience developing and maintaining ETL workflows, including design patterns and best practices
• Familiarity with BI platforms such as Sisense, Tableau, or Power BI (experience with Jaql a plus)
• Strong research, analytical, math, and logic abilities
• Data warehousing experience is a plus
• Ability to work well cross-functionally, especially with technical teams
• Upper Intermediate English Level (B2)
