About The Role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer in our Sportsbook domain.

In this role you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the development and maintenance of our robust and scalable technology stack.

Working with the latest technologies, you will help build and enhance our cloud-based platforms, ensuring they are distributed, scalable, and fault-tolerant to meet the specific demands in the betting market and our rapidly growing user base.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Developing, designing, and refactoring microservices.
• Conducting code reviews and providing mentorship to team members.
• Integrating new products and building internal services to support our ecosystem.
• Taking ownership of problem-solving, collaborating with other teams when necessary.
  
  

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• You have experience with common Java frameworks such as Spring and JPA
• Experience with Kotlin
• Demonstrated ability to build services from scratch.
• You’re no stranger to working with relational databases such as MySQL
• You have experience in building scalable and fault-tolerant systems and are familiar with microservice architectures
  
  

NICE TO HAVES:

• Familiarity with additional technologies such as Akka, Hazelcast, Elasticsearch, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Consul, Google Cloud Platform, and BigQuery.
