About The Role

We are seeking a skilled PHP Laravel Developer to join our vibrant development team at Ripple. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications that serve our diverse user base. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to create seamless, high-performance digital experiences. Your expertise will help us optimize existing platforms and innovate new features that align with our strategic goals. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in PHP development, particularly with Laravel, and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of full-stack development principles. Proven experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js or React is essential. Familiarity with relational databases, especially MySQL, version control systems such as Git, and cloud deployment platforms is required. Additionally, candidates should have excellent problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for learning new technologies. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise scalable, high-performance web applications using Laravel and the broader PHP/LAMP stack.
• Create intuitive, responsive front-end interfaces employing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks to enhance user experience.
• Design and integrate APIs and third-party services to support dynamic and data-driven features.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code, adhering to best practices and contributing to continuous integration and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with product teams, designers, and other developers to translate user requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, stand-up meetings, and planning sessions to ensure project alignment and timely delivery.
• Maintain documentation and assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly.
