Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Healthcare Data Analyst to join our remote US team. In this role, you will work under the guidance of senior analysts to clean, process, and analyze healthcare data, contributing to reports that inform critical decisions for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your analytical skills to real-world challenges in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, validate, and process healthcare datasets (e.g., claims, clinical, operational) to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Perform basic quantitative analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.
• Assist in building and maintaining reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Write and execute SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
• Collaborate with team members to understand client objectives and deliver on project requirements.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and data security protocols.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, Economics, Information Management, or a related quantitative field.
• Foundational understanding of and academic or project experience with:
• Writing basic SQL queries for data extraction.
• Data visualization principles and tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel PivotTables).
• Statistical analysis concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, ICD-10, CPT codes) and HIPAA regulations.
• Academic or internship experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) or medical claims data.
• Experience with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis (e.g., pandas, tidyverse).
• A portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing academic or personal data analysis projects.
