Digital Business Technologist m/f/d

In order to translate the business requirements into the design and delivery of technology applications we are currently looking for an experienced Digital Business Technologist (m/f/d) to join our IT team supporting our Global Human Health subsidiary based in Brussels (full-time, indefinite).

As the Market Business Technologist, you will cooperate closely with the Business and you will contribute to the overall technology orchestration, which may include various development activities. For example, Front-end development.

We are looking for someone with a broad basis of technology understanding, who is motivated to continuously and quickly learn about new technology applications in the field of digital marketing, as we provide a variety of opportunities to develop your skills.

The Primary Activities May Include

• Understand and clarify business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
• Develop/adapt dashboards using Analytics tools such as Qlik sense & Power BI in collaboration with local and regional data teams.
• Designing & develop business process simplification & automation solutions
• As part of market agile teams, contribute to the delivery of product releases by resolving design issues and questions during the delivery lifecycle.
• Design quality solutions in both agile and scalable methodologies, contributing for the quality and testing of the software that the team produces.
• Support compliance with our Company’s cyber security standards and Software Development Lifecycle management methodology, as well as architectural standards.
• Provide support to existing and future IT and data platforms and deployment of integrated solutions.
• Ability to learn market-specific regulatory and compliance needs relevant to digital capabilities in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Keep up with market trends and new use cases for design, data models, and analytics and suggests evolution of the architecture.
• Work closely with the regional and global Market Business Technologist community, and contribute to platform solution working with cross regional teams (IT Tech centers).
• Work on the development of Generative AI applications for the different business needs.

Ideal Skillset and Experience

• Good understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, ideally experience working with and setting up JIRA and Confluence.
• Hands-on experience with Visualization tools such as Qlik Sense
• Knowledge of SQL & ETL.
• Proficient English knowledge, both written and spoken. Dutch/French knowledge is highly advantageous.
• We are looking for a quick learner who is passionate about technology and flexible to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to navigate matrix organizations and comfortable to deal with ambiguity and adapt to changes for continuous improvement of IT Products.
• Ability to quickly develop effective trust-based relationships, working closely with cross functional stakeholders across the business.
• Highly developed communication skills.

It would be great if you have

• Ideally, good overall understanding of full stack development (front-end and back-end development) and working with APIs.
