We are seeking a skilled DevOps System Administrator to support our client in their cyberspace.

In this role, you will provide critical support across IT infrastructure and systems administration, ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of client's products. Working within a collaborative DevOps environment, you’ll contribute to sustaining and enhancing national cyber capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1–3 support for SDTE systems.
• Manage incident response and change requests across hardware and software.
• Monitor and maintain infrastructure performance, security posture, and compliance.
• Automate system administration tasks via scripting, orchestration tools, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline product delivery.
• Plan and execute infrastructure maintenance, patching, and updates.
• Ensure infrastructure security through compliance with client's ICT and cyber security frameworks.

What we’re looking for

✔ Tertiary qualifications (or equivalent experience) in IT, Software Engineering, or related discipline

✔ Experience in IT administration across physical and virtual networks

✔ Hands-on experience in cross-functional IT/project teams

✔ Familiarity with ADF systems and networks

✔ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Desirable:

• Experience with Ansible, containerisation, and virtualisation technologies
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code practices
• Experience in Agile or DevOps environments
• Prior Government ICT experience
