Technical Project Manager

Nortal
Lithuania · Full-time · Mid-Senior

Overview

Nortal is a global technology consulting company that combines strategy and innovation to deliver mission-critical digital transformations for leading companies and governments worldwide.

We believe work should be meaningful, challenging, and value-driven — and we empower our teams to co-create solutions that shape a better future.

We’re now looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our growing team.

In this role, you’ll drive complex digital transformation projects from start to finish, ensuring they’re delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.

With your leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, you’ll help bring innovative solutions to life and create meaningful impact for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of digital transformation projects, including planning, execution, integration, and team coordination.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables while balancing budgets, timelines, and resources.
  • Act as the key link between stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
  • Implement quality controls, manage risks, and address issues to keep projects on track.
  • Maintain clear project documentation, provide accurate reporting, and ensure transparency throughout delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in scope, schedule, and risk management.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including vendor collaboration and negotiation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective leadership skills: team motivation, conflict resolution, and delivery ownership.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools (Jira, Trello, MS Project, or similar).
  • Openness to using modern productivity or AI-enhanced tools (e.g., ChatGPT, CoPilot).

Nice To Have

  • Basic knowledge of scripting or programming (Python, PowerShell).
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.).
  • ITIL Certification.

What We Offer

  • Flexible working hours to fit your schedule — with some overlap needed with our US-based team.
  • A collaborative, innovative, and supportive environment where your ideas and expertise truly matter.
  • Opportunities to grow your skills and work on projects that have real-world impact.

Salary range: 3000 - 4600 € EUR gross

If you’re an experienced technical project leader ready to take on meaningful challenges, we’d love to hear from you!

We like to say that Nortal is a right-sized company – big enough to undertake and impact influential projects yet small enough to care. At Nortal, your voice is heard, and everyone’s input matters. You solve critical problems for interesting customers from different domains. You work with experienced colleagues in a warm environment. You can execute your ideas in a reasonable time frame.

And what you do and learn here are universally relevant and valuable. Last, but not least, Nortal is an agile company with low hierarchy – meaning heavy on common sense, light on rules, and substance is more important than titles!
