About This Opportunity

We are in a very exciting digitalization transition phase for our solution Configuration and Product Packaging architecture and need to ensure that we can sell an ever-increasing complexity of variants of network products and systems to our customers. The solutions need to ensure an optimized commercial & supply connection to streamline finances & secure quality deliveries. Hence, we need to strengthen our development teams with several software engineers in this area.

The Solution Configuration department is responsible and drive the configuration modeling for the HW and SW product monthly releases.

We work with the latest technologies in the configuration and constraint programming areas to provide advanced configuration solutions for the Ericsson Radio System Product portfolio.

We are also responsible for the front- and backend design for the Digital Transformation concept. In addition, the unit is part of the data driven development transformation program and other minor internal tools.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in MiniZinc and declarative programming to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and configuring solutions using MiniZinc, as well as a deep understanding of declarative programming paradigms. Knowledge of the telecom domain and familiarity with the Ericsson product portfolio is a significant advantage.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and configure solutions using MiniZinc
• Apply declarative programming techniques to solve complex problems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
• Optimize and maintain existing MiniZinc models and configurations
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
  
  

The Skills You Bring

• Proven experience with declarative programming (Python or Java)
• Hands-on constraint/optimization (MiniZinc, OR-Tools or similar)
• RESTful micro-services
• Git + CI/CD
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think abstractly
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• MSc Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with other programming languages and tools is a plus
• Knowledge of the telecom domain and familiarity with the Ericsson product portfolio is a significant advantage

• Familiarity with constraint programming and optimization techniques
• SAP AVC/SSC or Configit Ace
• Kubernetes
• Graph databases
• Experience with other declarative programming languages
• Knowledge of software development best practices and methodologies
