I am currently recruiting on behalf of a global OEM, based in Gothenburg, who are seeking a Concept Engineer - Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics to join their team. You will join the European R&D hub for a premium electric mobility brand.

The Role
We are looking for a Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gothenburg. In this role, you will support the development of current and future platform concepts, with a strong focus on suspension systems and vehicle dynamics performance. You will collaborate across disciplines, ensuring chassis systems meet requirements for safety, comfort, and driving dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics team in studying current and future platform concepts.
• Work closely with Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics team and attribute teams to align suspension system performance.
• Represent the suspension and chassis systems in packaging and project meetings.
• Create and update concept and platform parts in CAD with consideration for industrialization.
• Build and analyze kinematic models for package studies.
• Organize and maintain data in Team Center.
• Perform Kinematics & Compliance (K&C) analysis on suspension layouts.

Qualifications / Skills needed

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in chassis system development.
• Solid understanding of chassis systems, suspension concepts, and trade-off balancing (NVH, dynamics, durability, corrosion, brakes).
• Hands-on experience with multiple suspension layouts.
• Skilled in CAD (Catia V5), TeamCenter, Adams, and Matlab/Simulink.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative and open to working in a diverse, multicultural environment.
• Comfortable asking for and offering support within the team.
