Cloud Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Technical Expert to play a key role in managing and improving our private cloud environments. This is a unique opportunity to work on critical infrastructure, with a strong focus on modern technology and methodology.

About the role:

As a Cloud Technical Expert, you will be at the forefront of our private cloud operations. Your primary focus will be on Kubernetes and DevOps practices, ensuring our systems are secure, automated, and scalable. You will be instrumental in migrating existing services and integrating leading tools to optimize our workflow.

Key responsibilities:

• Migration: Lead the migration of existing Docker services to a Kubernetes-based platform.
• Operations and maintenance: Be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our Kubernetes clusters.
• Automation: Design and implement robust automation and CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Security: Proactively implement security improvements and ensure that all development work is carefully documented.
• Integration: Integrate services with Hashicorp Vault to improve security and secrets management.

Required skills and qualifications:

Must have:

• Significant DevOps experience.
• Extensive, hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including cluster operation and maintenance.

Nice to have:

• Previous experience with setup and administration of Hashicorp Vault.

Language and security:

• Fluent in Norwegian.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain necessary security clearance.
