We seek a highly talented Software Engineering working student (Frontend or Fullstack) to join our growing tech team. 1KOMMA5° is building Germany's largest one-stop-shop for sale, installation, and services related to solar, heat pumps, electricity, and charging infrastructure. Your mission

As part of a cross-functional team in the B2B domain, you will implement solutions for our customers and sales teams to improve communication and discoverability of our unique mission.

Key responsibilities include:

• Work collaboratively with marketing, product managers, designers, and developers
• Discover, evaluate, implement, and deploy software solutions for our core customer-facing products
• Improve parts of our customer journey
• Improve website performance and lead conversion rates
• Take end to end ownership of features
• Foster a culture of experiment-driven innovation within the team
• Improve customer satisfaction by continuously reducing tech debt, improving the quality, and building software people love to use
  
  

Technologies you will work with include:

• Web Frontend : React, TypeScript, Next.js, Vercel
• Backend (if you want to go Fullstack) : TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS
• Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, PubSub, CloudSQL, Firestore, BigQuery)
• Datadog
• Terraform

Your profile

• You are enrolled at a university and contribute 20 hours per week
• You are studying Computer Science or a comparable course of studies
• You have experience writing reliable production frontend services with React, TypeScript, and Next.js. Experience with Vercel, Node.js and Flutter is a plus.
• You are passionate to write maintainable, documented, reusable, and testable code
• You are excited about improving user experience and driving customer conversion
• You have a finger on the pulse of software engineering trends and are excited to learn industry best practices
• You have an agile and result-oriented mindset, and you consider yourself a team player
• You have very good written and spoken English skills. German is a big plus since we are working quite close to the customers
