Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on serverless frameworks and a solid foundation in Python programming to join an innovative cloud-hosted platform team with one of our key GeoData Specialist Clients.

This platform transforms the way clients interact with geo-data and complex datasets. It provides a single source of truth that helps users visually track project progress, gain early insights, and drive toward success – all in near real-time.

Our ideal candidate will excel in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance serverless architectures, while contributing to the development of cutting-edge solutions.

• Your Role
• Architect and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance serverless infrastructure using AWS services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and develop innovative architectural solutions
• Design, implement, and optimize serverless functions and cloud infrastructure with AWS tools such as Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway
• Ensure adherence to best practices for cloud security, scalability, and performance optimization
• Provide mentorship and guidance to development teams on serverless and cloud technologies
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, implementing proactive solutions for continuous improvement
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in serverless computing, cloud technologies, and related tools
• Key Requirements
• Proven experience in designing and implementing serverless applications using frameworks like Serverless Framework or AWS SAM
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like CloudFormation, and other DevOps practices
• Strong proficiency in Python programming, particularly in serverless environments
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Experience working within Agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban
• AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Developer are considered a plus
