The Role: Backend Software Engineer

You’ll build, scale, and evolve backend systems that support critical compensation processes for global enterprises. This isn’t just about solid code - it’s about crafting high-performance services that are reliable, scalable, and built to last.

Tech Stack & Responsibilities

As a Backend Software Engineer, Your Day-to-day Will Include

  • Building new application features and platform tools using Microsoft and open-source technologies.
  • Translating complex customer needs into scalable, production-ready solutions.
  • Designing and implementing microservices using .NET Core, with performance, scalability, and resilience in mind.
  • Working with SQL Server, T-SQL, and ORMs like EF or NH to manage data effectively.
  • Leveraging AI tools like Cursor, CodeRabbit, or GitHub Copilot to supercharge development—accelerating delivery, improving quality, and enhancing documentation and testing.
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using C#, ASP.NET, WebAPI, and related frameworks.
  • Creating and maintaining technical specs and documentation.
  • Supporting and mentoring other developers as part of your team leadership.


What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience building .NET-based solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong command of C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and web services (REST, WebAPI).
  • Deep understanding of microservice architecture, SOLID principles, and Agile development.
  • Experience working with high-performance, high-scalability backend systems.
  • Proficiency in relational database design, SQL Server, and ORMs.
  • A knack for clean, modular, and testable code—plus the curiosity to keep exploring better ways to build.


Bonus Points (Nice-to-Have Skills)

  • Experience with Azure services, Redis, SSRS, or SonarQube
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture and RabbitMQ
  • Full-stack capabilities, especially with React
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications
