Construction Project Manager

Wyser Search & Selection is the brand of GI Group, an Italy-based human resources holding company, specializing in middle and senior level recruitment and selection.

We are currently seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our business partner in the construction industry, a company delivering large-scale projects in the contracting sector, for an international project assignment.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture,

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience, (international project experience is required)

• Fluent in English, (Arabic is a plus)

• Experienced in superstructure projects,

• Strong knowledge in planning and budget management,

• Experienced in subcontractor management,

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and MsProject,

• Strong leadership and organizational skills with a professional presence,

• Solution-oriented with strong problem-solving and coordination abilities.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage all operational processes necessary for the successful and timely completion of current and planned projects within the company,

• Review and approve progress payments and financial statements prepared by relevant personnel; forward final approvals to senior management,

• Conduct budget planning before project execution and provide recommendations to management,

• Ensure that design and implementation align with both management and company expectations at the project start and during execution,

• Perform budget control during the construction process, evaluate deviations (if any) and submit for approval,

• Assess materials planned to be used during the construction phase,

• Coordinate work between local and international subcontractors,

• Attend coordination meetings with the client, gather their requirements and ensure implementation,

• Participate in the evaluation and selection of consultants responsible for architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, landscape and interior design,

• Create and manage the departmental budget in collaboration with the department head.
