Software Engineer - Backend

About the role:

The Senior Backend Engineer will be a key member of the engineering team, designing and implementing scalable backend systems that power financial platforms used by thousands of customers daily. This role involves working with microservices, API development, and database optimisation to ensure reliable performance and smooth user experiences.

About you:

• 5+ years of backend development experience (preferably with Java, Kotlin, or Go).
• Strong knowledge of microservices and cloud architecture (AWS or GCP).
• Experience building and scaling RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
