IT Project Manager I

Summary

Our rapidly growing software company is currently seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join the Cloud Operations Team. The IT Project Manager will oversee customer cloud environment deliverables. This position is primarily a customer-facing role requiring outstanding written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and great attention to detail. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for gathering technical requirements from customers, leading customer on-boarding calls, and driving customer deliverables with internal teams via Kanban throughout the customer's lifecycle. A passion for technology and learning along with the ability to grow others are vital for success in this role.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Lead small to moderately sized projects in support of Cloud Development, Engineering, and Operations teams.
• Lead small to moderately sized customer-facing projects such as infrastructure builds and migrations.
• Ensure efficient but thorough use of stakeholder resources in defining scope, approving acceptance criteria, and preparing for release impact.
• Work with internal development teams to update service delivery workflows.
• Ensure team documentation is up to date and optimized.
• Maintain focus on project value; define, deliver, and measure value throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitoring dashboards and collaborating as needed to ensure timely delivery of standardized Cloud deliverables.
• Consistently meeting team performance benchmarks.
  
  

Required Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or relevant field (or equivalent
• experience.)
• 2+ years of IT experience in a role such as Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Service Delivery Manager, or similar
• AZ900 Certification
  
  

Preferred Education And Experience

• Experience with the following technologies, tools, and concepts:
• Service Now
• ITIL practices
• Microsoft Azure
• Experience with the following technologies, tools, and concepts
• Microsoft Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 R2/2016, IIS, Microsoft SQL Server Identity management using Azure AD, Okta, OpenID Connect, SAML
• Network and infrastructure administration within a Windows-based environment
• Experience working for a cloud service provider (CSP) or managed service provider (MSP)
• Any certifications such as Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), CompTIA Security+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Cloud Platform: Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate
• Experience with FedRAMP; certification, audits, and compliance standards
