For this position you would be working with our client from the European institutions.

DIGIT.A.2 in partnership with other Commission services and stakeholders, provides high quality corporate solutions/information systems for EC and non EC entities, enabling the successful implementation of the Commission's Digital Transformation and EU policies.

Below are the details of your role and requirements.

Your Role

• Investigating and fixing reported bugs in the Unified Portal.
• Designing UI for new requested features.
• Implementing new requested features.
• Writing test case scenarios (unit and UI).
• Writing documentation.
• Performing maintenance and optimisation of the source code.

Requirements

Who we think you are:

The Following Technical Skills Are Required

• Working experience as a full stack developer
• Working experience with Python, JavaScript and Web technologies (HTML, CSS
  
  

and SCSS)

• Working experience with software testing methodologies like unit testing,
  
  

integration testing or end-to-end testing

• Experience with git and tools like GitHub and Gitlab
• Knowledge of container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) and their security
  
  

management

The Following Analytical Skills Are Required

• A high level of customer orientation
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and
  
  

resolve issues that may arise during the development process

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with a
  
  

large amount of information in a limited time

• Excellent documentation skills: ability to create clear and concise technical
  
  

documentation and guides

• Working experience with UI design and tools such as Figma, Penpot…
• Team collaboration: experience working in a collaborative environment, with a
  
  

focus on remote development setups, and the ability to communicate

effectively with internal and external teams.

The Following Skills Are Also Good To Have

• Familiarity with CRM Systems (VTiger CRM preferred)
• Knowledge of Directory Services (LDAP/Active Directory)
• Experience in FastAPI, Pyramid framework
• Experience in Jinja templating
