Mobile Developer

The client is looking for a Mobile Developer Expert

Required to:

• Develop native Android and/or iOS applications with a strong focus on real-time communication (text, voice, video) coupled with a microservice-oriented backend architecture based on the recommendations of the architect and analysts.
• Ensure their distribution on mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, or others).
• Version and document the source code of the various projects.
• Provide support to colleagues in the department as well as end users.
• Meet deadlines.

Profile Description:

• You hold at least a bachelor's degree in computer science and have significant experience in a similar role.
• You have excellent skills in native Android development and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
• You are proficient in using services, transmitting information in real time (text and voice), and managing user notifications.
• You have already contributed to the development of critical applications requiring a high level of availability, regardless of network conditions, and possibly integrating local storage mechanisms (offline-first).
• You are familiar with modern authentication concepts, particularly OpenID or, failing that, JWT authentication applied to mobile development.
• You are familiar with CI/CD principles and are comfortable using the Git versioning tool.
• You are able to design and maintain robust unit tests.
• You apply software design best practices (Clean Architecture, MVVM, etc.).
• English: active knowledge
• French and Dutch: passive knowledge
• You have extensive mentoring experience and know how to share your knowledge effectively.
• You are familiar with compose
• You are familiar with reactive programming
• You are familiar with SQLite
• You are familiar with websocket
• Additional advantage: You have experience with other mobile frameworks.
