Overview:
This specialist position centers on designing, building, and supporting intelligent data and cloud infrastructure using semantic web technologies and artificial intelligence. Based in Luxembourg, the role involves collaborating with the development team and a major client, delivering expertise across both company sites and customer premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptual Design of Semantic Systems:
- You'll define high-level specifications and models that shape the structure and evolution of semantic data platforms, ensuring systems are secure, robust, and user-focused.
- Implementation & Migration Strategies:
- You’ll plan and execute migrations—from legacy systems to next-generation semantic platforms—ensuring seamless transitions and future-proof architectures.
- Triplestore Server & Semantic Data Integration:
- You’re responsible for configuring and managing semantic databases (like Apache Jena, Virtuoso) and connecting them with business intelligence tools, enabling organizations to extract actionable insights from complex data.
- AI-Powered Solutions:
- The role includes designing models for prediction, recommendations, and semantic reasoning (using LLMs), uncovering deep patterns and connections within data to support smarter decision-making.
- Cloud Solution Development:
- You’ll build and maintain scalable and resilient cloud-based semantic web applications, leveraging services from AWS and Azure (including serverless computing and distributed storage).
- DevOps & Automation:
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices (using Jenkins, GitLab, AWS/Azure DevOps tools) streamlining development, deployment, and monitoring to boost reliability and efficiency.
- Performance Optimization:
- Ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting of Semantic Web systems to ensure high speed, reliability, and affordable operation.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- You will deliver presentations, write recommendations, and provide training, aligning team members and other stakeholders with project goals.
- Knowledge Transfer:
- Responsible for managing takeover and handover processes, ensuring vital documentation and expertise are smoothly transitioned to maintain business continuity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
- University degree in IT (or related) with at least 4 years' relevant experience.
- Technical Depth:
- 3+ years in Python
- 2+ years in AWS Cloud & Docker
- 2+ years in Java (including SE, EE, EJB, Applet)
- 2+ years in Linux
- 1+ year with Windows 7 or higher, Perl, R, and C++
- 1+ year in semantic web technologies (OWL 2, RDF, RDF-S, triple stores, SPARQL)
- Data modelling (BPMN, ARIS, EPC), analytics (PowerBI, KNIME, Hadoop, Spark), processing tools (Kafka, Airflow, etc.)
- Machine learning, LLMs, deep learning frameworks
- Cloud, API development, monitoring and version control tools (ELK, Datadog, Dynatrace, SVN, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Office 365)
Language:
- Excellent English skills for documentation, presentations, and collaboration.
