Location: Stockholm, with flexibility to work remotely (preferably 2 days in-office per week)

Salary: Starting from 55,000 SEK/month

Our client is a dynamic, well-positioned scale-up offering a unique SaaS solution aimed at transforming the management of trade documents. Since 2016, they've been developing a patented platform that enables businesses—primarily large banks, trade forwarders, shippers, and corporations involved in exports/imports—to handle negotiable documents digitally, reducing reliance on traditional paper processes. Their solution allows original documents to remain with the owner while facilitating secure, digital negotiations and transactions, even for non-customers.

With a strong customer base and new growth ambitions, they’re now expanding their product to serve small and medium-sized enterprises via an online channel. This role will play a pivotal part in developing this new online sales platform.

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer with a focus on Java to contribute to the development and enhancement of their SaaS platform. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company with ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend components for a scalable SaaS platform.
• Collaborate on a new project aimed at expanding the client’s product reach to smaller businesses via an online account setup platform.
• Contribute to both new development projects and the enhancement of the core product.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java (Spring Boot).
• Familiarity with AWS and Docker is beneficial.
• Basic experience with frontend development (Vue.js preferred; React or Angular are also acceptable).
• Experience working on SaaS platforms.
• A degree in Engineering or Computer Science is ideal.
• Experience with integrating Stripe payment solutions is a plus.

Work Environment:

• Hybrid model: While our client offers the flexibility to work remotely, they prefer someone open to attending the newly refurbished office at least 2 days a week.
