Java Software Engineer - Mid or Senior Level - Backend Transformation

I am seeking skilled Java Developers (Mid to Senior level) to join my client in supporting and optimizing an on-premise backend system within a complex environment. The team is collaborative and you have the chance to work in a dynamic ambience, making a big impact in a well-known organization. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the system, implementing new business requirements, and upholding code quality and security standards. This role requires active communication, a focus on best practices, and collaboration with other team members to prevent key man risk.

Hybrid: Once a week onsite

Start: As soon as possible

Workload: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize the existing on-premise backend system
• Troubleshoot and resolve system bugs
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Enhance code quality by following clean code principles and implementing best practices
• Ensure adherence to security standards
• Collaborate closely with team members, sharing knowledge and insights
• Participate in team meetings and scrum ceremonies
• Mentor and coach fellow developers

Profile

• Mid or Senior Java Developer with strong backend development experience
• Proven experience with complex systems and migrations
• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate solutions clearly
