Data Scientist

Role Description

• Design and implement efficient data processing solutions aligned with project and business goals.
• Refactor PL/SQL scripts into Java code, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Develop and manage test automation frameworks to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects and developers, to integrate data services seamlessly into applications.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot).
• Experience in refactoring PL/SQL scripts into Java services.
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks related to Java.
• Experience in manual testing of PL/SQL script adjustments.
• Dutch language skills (B2+).
• Strong understanding of SOAP and REST for service integration.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Oracle Forms.
• Familiarity with Unified Modeling Language (UML).
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
• Ability to investigate and solve performance issues in database and data retrieval.
• Exposure to Java 21.
• Knowledge of message exchange patterns relevant to the Java and Oracle SQL stack.
