Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team and drive the design, implementation, and management of robust and scalable network solutions in cloud and hybrid environments.

This role requires expertise in cloud networking, DNS management, and network automation to support our business objectives and ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud network infrastructure with a focus on scalability and security
• Maintain expertise in BlueCat centralized DNS and DHCP management
• Manage and integrate DNS records across cloud-native solutions (AWS Route 53, GCP Cloud DNS, Azure DNS) with on-premises solutions like BlueCat
• Develop and enforce robust network policies, procedures, and standards
• Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot network performance issues to ensure high availability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver network solutions that align with business and technical requirements
• Automate network operations using scripting languages and tools, enhancing efficiency
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud networking and DNS management

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of cloud networking services such as VPC, VPN, Cloud Interconnect, and Cloud DNS
• Experience with Cloud/BlueCat servers and DNS frameworks
• Proficiency in network security principles and the implementation of best practices
• Strong understanding of network protocols and services, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
• Expertise in subnetting, IPv4 addressing, and CIDR notation for effective network design
• Skills in network automation using tools like Terraform and scripting in Python
• Experience working with Jenkins pipelines
• Proficiency in network monitoring tools such as ELK and SolarWinds
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to perform effectively under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate in remote environments
• Capability to participate in an on-call rotation and work autonomously

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as GCP, AWS, or Azure Cloud Network Engineer
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools, including Kubernetes and Docker
