Senior Information Security / GRC Consultant – Oslo

A fast growing technology company with a strong position in the Nordic market is expanding its Cyber Security Advisory Services team. They are seeking an experienced professional to play a key role in strengthening their information security and governance capabilities, supporting some of the most exciting customers and projects in Norway.

The Role:

As a consultant, you will advise clients within areas such as:

• Security strategy and operationalization
• Security management and ISMS
• Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)
• CISO as a service
• ISO 27001 certification support
• Security audits and reviews
• Risk assessments (ROS) and value mapping
• Privacy and compliance (GDPR, NIS2, etc.)
• Security culture and training initiatives
• Security architecture

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security strategies, frameworks, policies, and controls
• Support organizations with ISO 27001 implementation and certification
• Conduct audits, assessments, and risk management projects
• Advise senior stakeholders, including management and C level executives
• Help clients align business goals with strong information security practices

About You:

• 10+ years of relevant IT experience, with at least 5 years in information security, GRC, or security management consulting
• Experience leading client projects and advisory missions
• Solid understanding of frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR)
• Technical understanding of areas such as network security, IAM, cloud, and application security
• Strong communication skills with both technical and executive stakeholders
• Business acumen – ability to link security with strategic goals
• Master’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
