Procurement Project Manager

***Freelance Opportunity - Procurement Project Manager - Stockholm, Sweden***

My client is currently in need of an Procurement Project Manager to join a project in the Sweden. This is a full time role to start ASAP and will initially run for 3 months, with the chance to extend.

Project Overview:

Lead a Procurement Platform Program focused on establishing an optimised state for procurement processes and associated technical solutions.

Role Assignment:

Oversee a team of business development specialists and subject matter experts dedicated to a defined process area.

Working model: Hybrid

Travel: Weekly travel to Stockholm.

Languages: Fluent in English, Swedish is a plus.

Preferred Experience:

Procurement and/or Supply chain business experience, experience from international large scale transformation programs.

Areas of Responsibility Include:

• Defining target outcomes for specified scopes
• Managing time-lines and resources
• Preparing materials for Steering Group decisions
• Monitoring and updating activity progress
• Handling activity escalation processes
• Collecting and managing requirements
• Ensuring adherence to design principles
• Stage-by-stage planning and preparation:
• Functional planning for scope implementation
• Planning for business roll-out
• Tracking and managing costs
