Senior Network Engineer (Cloud DNS / BlueCat)

We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer with a focus on Cloud DNS and BlueCat.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee Cloud network infrastructure
• Demonstrate knowledge of BlueCat Centralized DNS and DHCP management
• Manage DNS records across platforms such as AWS Route 53, GCP Cloud DNS, Azure DNS, and integrate them with on-premises solutions like BlueCat
• Establish network policies, procedures, and standards
• Monitor network performance, address issues, and maintain high availability and reliability
• Collaborate with teams to develop network solutions that align with business requirements
• Automate network processes to improve efficiency and minimize manual efforts
• Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in cloud networking and DNS management

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a Network Engineer or similar role
• Knowledge of Cloud networking services, including VPC, VPN, Cloud Interconnect, and Cloud DNS
• Background in Cloud platforms, BlueCat servers, and DNS management
• Proficiency in network security principles and practices
• Understanding of network protocols and systems (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
• Capability to apply IPv4 addressing, CIDR notation, and subnetting for efficient network design
• Skills in network automation tools and scripting languages, such as Python and Terraform
• Familiarity with Jenkins Pipeline
• Proficiency in network monitoring tools like ELK and SolarWinds
• Competency in troubleshooting and maintaining performance under pressure
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Flexibility to work remotely and participate in an on-call rotation

Nice to have

• Professional Cloud Network Engineer certifications (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools, including Kubernetes and Docker
