About the role:

This role is part of the Corporate Strategy Engineering team, focused on building reliable, scalable, and innovative solutions that support critical processes across the organization.

As a Software Engineer, you will work on a Salesforce project, contributing across backend services, integrations, and user interfaces to deliver high-quality software. You will build tools, documentation, and processes to support “self-serve” capabilities for other business units, define SLA/SLOs, manage code deployments and updates, automate operational processes, and respond to infrastructure outages or service issues.

Responsibilities:

• Design, validate, and implement new projects, modules, and features across all tiers: database, integrations, business logic, core services, and user experience.
• Build and maintain GitOps-driven CI/CD pipelines and automate operational processes.
• Define SLA/SLOs for services, manage code deployments, software updates, and fixes.
• Respond to security monitoring alerts, infrastructure outages, or service degradation.
• Troubleshoot network, hardware, and operating system issues or bottlenecks.
• Support business processes and stakeholders by learning about customer needs and outcomes.
• Resolve complex technical issues and improve system availability, scalability, resiliency, and performance.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Between 2 and 5 years of experience working in Backend software development.
• Strong back-end development experience with Java or Kotlin, OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.
• Proven ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Strong sense of ownership and commitment to delivering high-quality software.
• Excellent engineering skills with attention to elegant, maintainable, and performant code.
• Growth mindset and willingness to learn, adapt, and tackle challenging problems.
• Ability to deliver high-quality code in a fast-paced, dynamic agile team environment.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Desired skills:

• Experience developing REST APIs.
• Experience with front-end development (React, Angular).
• Experience with CI/CD processes.
• Experience in agile software development with short release cycles.
• Experience building high-performance, large-scale web applications.
• Familiarity with Test Driven Development and frameworks such as JUnit and Selenium.
• Knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, and reusable web frameworks.
• Understanding of web page performance, security, mobile web development, and responsive design.
• Experience debugging code in IDEs such as IntelliJ.

Contractual terms:

Full-time & fully remote (Argentina only) – We are only accepting applicants who are residents of Argentina.
