Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Developer with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on expertise to join our Financial Applications Team. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of new bonus elements within the eMargin application, working closely with both the Functional Analyst and Business Owner. You will be part of a collaborative, agile team of five project resources, responsible for implementing and demonstrating user stories directly to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement well-defined user stories
• Participate in refinement sessions to estimate and clarify upcoming tasks
• Write high-quality unit tests for all implemented features
• Demonstrate completed stories to the Business Owner and address feedback
• Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders
• Engage in bi-weekly retrospectives to improve team processes

Must-Have Skills

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Java Developer
• Proficiency in:
• Java 8
• Spring 5
• Hibernate/JPA
• Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube
• Atlassian Jira
• Kafka

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with the GWT framework
• Prior experience working in SCRUM teams
