Tech Lead Mobile

We are partnering with a household name in Belgium to build a next-generation native mobile application (Android & iOS) designed for their network of 15,000–20,000 retail partners.

The vision is to strengthen the relationship with retailers through clear, direct communication via a simple, fast, and accessible app. While the first phase focuses on communication features, the foundation must be future-proof to allow richer functionalities later on — such as camera scanning, payment integrations, and advanced service extensions.

As the Mobile Application Tech Lead, you will take ownership of designing the architecture, guiding implementation, and ensuring the platform is secure, scalable, and seamlessly integrated into the broader IT landscape.

Your Mission

• Architect & Design – Define the mobile app’s architecture and ensure a future-proof foundation for future expansions.
• Mobile Development – Provide expertise in native Android and iOS development (front-end and back-end).
• API Integrations – Connect with core systems such as Dynamics 365, Adobe Experience Manager, and Entra ID B2C.
• Azure Services – Implement Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and API Management for robust, scalable integrations.
• Security by Design – Embed IT security best practices in all architectural decisions.
• Collaboration – Act as a trusted advisor to business and technical stakeholders, ensuring requirements translate into reliable solutions.

What are we looking for?

• You have at least 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on mobile applications.
• You are proficient in front-end and back-end mobile development.
• You possess strong skills in API integrations.
• You are an excellent problem-solver and a team player.
• You prioritize IT security in your development practices.
• You are knowledgeable about Azure Integration Services.
• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• You are proficient in Dutch or French and have active knowledge of English.
