We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in building and maintaining highly reliable, scalable systems. As an SRE, you will bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring our services meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.
What will you do?
- Design and implement SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs for critical services
- Build and maintain automation to improve system reliability
- Implement proactive monitoring and incident prevention strategies
- Optimize system performance and resource utilization
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems
- Collaborate with development teams to improve service reliability
- Drive continuous improvement through automation and tooling
- Conduct capacity planning and performance analysis
What are we looking for?
A candidate with 3+ years of experience in software engineering or systems
operations with the following skills:
- Familiarity with programming/scripting (Python, Go, Java)
- Deep understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Understanding of CI/CD principles and tools
- Strong background in system reliability and performance optimization
- Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with chaos engineering practices
- Knowledge of APM tools (New Relic, Datadog)
- Experience with log aggregation and analysis
- Understanding of network protocols and security
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization
- Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Experience with caching solutions (Redis)
- Experience with Java Spring ecosystem
- Database experience (PostgreSQL)
- Container registry management (Harbor)
- Log management and analysis (ELK Stack)
- Identity and access management (Keycloak)
