Senior Frontend Developer

Our client is a renowned European Agency, located in the heart of Strasbourg.

The agency is dedicated to continuously supporting the technological efforts for a safer Europe.

They support national authorities in the constant exchange of information across Europe whilst applying the latest principles of data protection and information security.

Contract type offer:

• Freelance or French employment contract through a partner company - short-term project

Location requirement:

• Strasbourg, working from the Agency’s comfortable offices (100% on-site).

Key Responsibilities:

· Writing clean and well-structured code to create layout, style and functionality of web applications.

· Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.

· Collaborating closely with UI/UX designers to translate designs into functional web interfaces, paying attention to detail and design consistency.

· Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

· Using version control systems like Github to manage code changes, collaborate with team members, and maintain a clean and organized codebase.

· Effectively communicating with designers, back-end developers, project owners and other team members / stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of front-end components with the overall project.

· Optimising application for maximum performance and scalability.

Key Requirements:

· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the defined area of expertise.

· Proficient experience with React and Typescript as well as browser testing and debugging.

· In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment).

· Excellent analytical and multitasking skills, business oriented with attention to details.

· Strong technical portfolio that demonstrates a broad range of abilities.

· Client-facing experience and experience with working on large-scale IT systems is desired.

· Basic familiarity with JIRA and Confluence. · Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
