Junior Manual QA Engineer

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join our team!

Our teams consist of: Technical Delivery Manager, Business Systems Analyst, Application Architect, Developers (dedicated FE and BE), QA Engineers and Designers (up to 15 people per team).

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in web testing;
• Firm understanding of QA methodologies and testing theory;
• Ability to apply testing theory on practical tasks;
• Experience in test documentation creation (test cases, check-lists, bug reports);
• Understanding of various browsers capabilities and limitations;
• Understanding of different types of testing and when they are applicable;
• Excellent communication skills, analytical and troubleshooting abilities;
• Intermediate level of spoken and written English;
• Experience with at least 1 tracking tools (preferable TFS, VSTS or Jira);
• Working knowledge of SQL;
• Understanding of SDLC.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Web application testing (manual);
• Requirement analysis;
• Test documentation creation (test cases, check-lists);
• Reporting bugs in tracking tool;
• Participation in scrum meetings;
• Following agreed project processes;
• Track own test activities and progress on daily basis;
• Close cooperation with BSA, QA and Dev teams
