Summit is building an innovative SaaS platform that enables startups to create, track, and achieve their corporate strategy. Our vision is to empower 1,000 founders through a streamlined and AI-powered platform that centralizes goal setting, KPI tracking, fund raising, mentorship booking, and project management. We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Technical Co-Founder to bring this vision to life.

Role Summary:

As the Technical Co-Founder, you will play a critical role in architecting, developing, and launching Summit’s MVP. Beyond MVP launch, your focus will shift to ensuring scalability, security, and reliability as we expand our user base and feature set. You will lead the technical development, guiding decisions on technology stack, infrastructure, and best practices, and eventually building a team to sustain growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. MVP Development:

• Oversee end-to-end development of the MVP, from planning to launch.

• Build initial core features, including strategic planning tools, KPI dashboards, project tracking, and mentorship scheduling.

• Hands-on coding and development work; select and implement the appropriate technology stack.

• Integrate AI capabilities that support goal setting and feedback on strategic objectives.

2. Platform Scalability & Architecture:

• Design a scalable, modular architecture that can accommodate future features and increased user traffic.

• Plan and manage server infrastructure, ensuring cost-effectiveness and robust performance.

• Evaluate and integrate third-party services/APIs for rapid product expansion while maintaining core integrity.

3. Security & Data Compliance:

• Implement best practices for data security, ensuring user data is protected and platform resilience is maintained.

• Stay current on SaaS industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and ensure platform compliance.

4. Product Roadmap & Innovation:

• Collaborate with the founders to define the technical roadmap and align it with company goals.

• Suggest and experiment with new technologies that improve user experience and performance.

• Build analytics and monitoring tools to understand user behavior and product performance.

5. Team Leadership & Culture:

• In the long term, recruit and mentor a high-performing engineering team to support product development.

• Establish and enforce engineering best practices, code quality, and documentation standards.

• Create a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Technical Expertise:

• Proven experience building and scaling SaaS products or platforms.

• Proficient in full-stack development, with a strong grasp of front-end, back-end, and cloud infrastructure.

• Strong experience with modern frameworks and languages (e.g., React, Node.js, Python, Go).

• Deep understanding of data security and privacy best practices.

• Product Development:

• Track record of delivering MVPs, preferably for SaaS products, with a hands-on approach.

• Experience in architecting platforms that scale, ideally with modular or microservices architecture.

• Leadership and Collaboration:

• Experience as a technical co-founder, CTO, or senior engineer in a startup or fast-growing company.

• Strong ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.

• Soft Skills:

• Growth mindset, problem-solving ability, and collaborative spirit.

• A strong interest in startups, entrepreneurship, and empowering founders.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with AI integrations or machine learning applications.

• Previous experience in early-stage startups.

• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
