Software Engineer, Health and Home Platform, Mobile, iOS

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
• 2 years of experience with iOS application development (Swift, SwiftUI).
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• Experience with design, implementation and live operations of iOS apps.

With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. We bring together the best of Google technologies and AI, health behavior science, and user-centered design to help users organize the health and wellness data, get insight from it, and take action toward their health goals. We do this with a suite of apps, services, and health wearables. We aim to make consumer health more personal, proactive, and actionable.

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code.
• Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
• Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
• Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
